Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated:

The conduct, content, and security rules every user of Great Outdoor Hubs agrees to follow. Violations may result in suspension, removal, or termination of access.

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs what you may and may not do when using Great Outdoor Hubs (greatoutdoorhubs.com) and our related apps and services (the “Service”). It is part of your agreement with us. See our Terms of Service for the rest of that agreement. Violations may lead to content removal, account suspension or termination, and reporting to law enforcement.

2. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right (including intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contract rights).
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, defame, doxx, or impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Post or transmit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, discriminatory, sexually explicit involving minors, or that incites violence or other illegal acts.
  • Sell, list, promote, or facilitate transactions involving illegal goods or services, regulated items you are not licensed to sell, or wildlife taken in violation of conservation law.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service (including operator listings, photos, contact details, or reviews) by automated means, except as expressly permitted by our robots.txt or a written agreement.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service; circumvent authentication, authorization, rate-limiting, or content-protection measures; or interfere with any user, host, or network.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, time bombs, or other harmful code.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk email, chain letters, spam, or pyramid schemes; phish for credentials; or otherwise mislead recipients about the source of a message.
  • Submit fake reviews, manipulate ratings, or otherwise tamper with the integrity of community signals.
  • Use the Service to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
  • Evade or attempt to evade any block, suspension, or termination we have imposed on your account or content.

3. Operator and listing rules

If you operate a business through the Service, you additionally agree to:

  • Maintain all licenses, permits, certifications, and insurance required for the activities you offer in every jurisdiction where you operate.
  • Honor the prices, availability, and offerings you publish. Disclose any material limitations (skill prerequisites, age restrictions, equipment requirements, weather contingencies) clearly.
  • Use waivers and customer-screening procedures appropriate to the activity and required by applicable law.
  • Respond to customer messages, refund requests, and dispute notices in good faith and within a reasonable time.
  • Not list services you are not actually offering, or list the same business under multiple operator accounts in order to manipulate ranking or visibility.

4. User-content rules

Content you submit must:

  • Be truthful and your own (or properly licensed from the rights-holder).
  • Not contain personal information about other people without their consent.
  • Not contain hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that targets protected classes for harm.
  • Not contain content that primarily promotes a competing service or that links to malware, phishing, or unlawful content.

5. Reporting abuse

If you see content or behavior on the Service that violates this AUP, email hello@greatoutdoorhubs.com with the relevant URL (or a screenshot) and a brief description of the issue. For emergencies that threaten life or safety, contact local emergency services first.

6. Copyright (DMCA notices)

We respect intellectual property and respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act. To submit a notice, email dmca@greatoutdoorhubs.com with the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, name, address, telephone number, and email.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list).
  3. The URL or other location of the material on the Service that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

We may forward the complete notice (including your contact information) to the user who posted the material, and we may remove the material pending resolution. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated. Knowingly submitting a materially false notice may result in liability under applicable law.

Mailing address for written notices, if preferred: Great Outdoor Hubs LLC, 665 Barrington Circle, Winter Springs, FL 32708, United States.

7. Counter-notices

If you believe content you posted was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including your signature, contact information, identification of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you live (or the Northern District of Florida if outside the U.S.).

8. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may take any action we consider appropriate, including removing content, warning users, suspending or terminating accounts, refusing service to repeat offenders, and reporting unlawful conduct to authorities. We do not have a duty to monitor user content, but we reserve the right to do so.

9. Changes

We may update this AUP. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
